Administrative Assistant

Location: Moorpark, CA
Pay Rate: $23 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time | On-site


Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our mortgage loan team. The ideal candidate will provide essential clerical and administrative support, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced mortgage lending environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and visitors; answer phones and direct calls to appropriate team members

  • Prepare, file, and organize loan documents and client records

  • Assist loan officers and processors with data entry, document tracking, and appointment scheduling

  • Maintain office supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed

  • Create and format correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email communications

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and company information

  • Provide general administrative support across departments as needed


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of administrative or office support experience (mortgage industry a plus)

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Familiarity with loan documentation and mortgage terms is a plus
